Interview with our team
Within 5 daysA friendly 30-minute video call with your placement coordinator. We'll get to know you, answer your questions, and confirm your eligibility.
Pay your programme fee
On acceptanceOnce accepted, you pay the programme fee — £1,450 for UK applicants or CA$2,500 for Canadian applicants. This secures your place and covers all placement coordination and support.
Matched with a host venue
2–4 weeksWe match you with a vetted venue that fits your skills and goals. You'll receive a full profile of your proposed placement — including your role, accommodation, and manager — before you commit.
Arrange your visa, flights & insurance
Spring 2027You apply for your Working Holiday visa independently and book your own flights and travel insurance. We provide guidance and a pre-departure briefing call with your future manager.
Arrive and start your placement
1 July 2027You arrive on 1st July 2027, move into your live-in accommodation, and begin your placement. Two meals a day are provided by your host. Your coordinator stays in touch throughout.

How hosting works
Register your venue
Complete our venue registration form. Tell us about your property, the roles you'd like to fill, and confirm you can provide live-in accommodation and two meals a day.
We find your candidate
Our team matches you with a pre-screened, experienced hospitality professional from the UK or Canada. There is no fee for host venues in 2027.
Meet your candidate
A three-way introduction call with you, your candidate, and your coordinator. You'll have the chance to ask questions and confirm the placement before anyone commits.
Welcome them on 1st July
Your new team member arrives ready to work on 1st July 2027 and stays through to 1st October. You employ them directly and provide live-in accommodation and two meals a day.

How long is the placement?+
The Summer 2027 placement runs from 1st July to 1st October — exactly three months. This is a fixed season; there are no shorter or longer options for this inaugural year.
What does the programme fee cover?+
The fee — £1,450 for UK applicants or CA$2,500 for Canadian applicants — covers all placement coordination, venue matching, pre-departure support, and ongoing assistance throughout your stay. It does not cover your visa, flights, or travel insurance, which you arrange independently.
Do I need to arrange my own visa?+
Yes. You apply for your Working Holiday visa independently and are responsible for the associated costs. We provide guidance on the process and can point you to the right resources, but the application is yours to make.
What does the host venue provide?+
Your host employs you on a full-time basis and provides live-in accommodation and two meals a day for the duration of the placement. You are responsible for your own flights, visa, and travel insurance.
Is there a fee for host venues?+
No. There is no fee for host venues in 2027. Venues employ participants directly and provide live-in accommodation and two meals a day.
